What is a Synthoshoot?
Synthography, or AI image generation, refers to the process of using artificial intelligence algorithms to create images. This is done by training machine learning models on existing images. AI image generation has a wide range of applications, including creating computer-generated art and generating stylized or photorealistic images for model portfolios.
To create the dataset for AI to work with, a number of portraits are created in various lighting conditions, outfits, and make-up. Text prompts can be fed to the finished AI model to create original images in various styles and lighting that is not necessarily present in the training data.
