Description
There was a man who had an unusual attachment to two things: parking pole meters and the ocean. Everywhere he went, he carried a parking pole meter with him, as it gave him a sense of security and familiarity. The man was also deeply drawn to the ocean and spent much of his time there. However, he always worried about how to carry the pole with him into the water.
One day, as he was standing at the beach with his pole, he became so absorbed in his thoughts that he didn’t notice the water slowly creeping up on him. Before he knew it, he was surrounded by a bubble of water, and he felt a strange sensation of weightlessness and peace. As he looked around, he saw that he was completely enveloped in the ocean, and all his worries about carrying the pole vanished.
For a while, the man was content in his bubble of water, experiencing the serene beauty of the sea. But eventually, he began to feel a sense of longing for his familiar parking pole meter. As he thought about it more and more, the water began to recede, and he found himself back on the beach, holding his pole once again.
Although he had his pole back, the man felt a profound sense of loss as he realized that he had let go of something precious when he was in the bubble of water. However, as he looked around, he saw a whole world of wonders that he had never noticed before. He saw the intricate patterns of the sand, the multitudes of seashells, and the playful antics of seagulls. He realized that he had been so focused on his attachment to the pole and the ocean that he had missed out on so much else.
From that day on, the man still carried his parking pole meter with him, but he also took the time to explore and appreciate the world around him. He found joy in the small things and realized that there was so much more to life than his attachments. And even though he was alone, he felt a deep sense of connection to the world around him.
